Robotics have already been applied in exciting ways to a range of medical treatments, and research on the application of robotics to psychosocial interventions is beginning to emerge.

Dr Nicole Robinson, of the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision, in collaboration with eMHPrac Director Professor David Kavanagh, has just published a paper reviewing global studies on psychosocial interventions by social robots for health or well-being. Read QUT Media’s interview with Dr Robinson.
