Bunyarabugalma Youth Development
The Bunyarabugalma Youth app was developed through a collaborative, community-led process on Bundjalung Country. The Bunyarabugalma Youth project brought together young people, creative mentors, elders, health, community workers and the Bunyarabugalma Project Team to create a healing resource for young people, by young people.
Part of the broader Bunyarabugalma initiative coordinated by the Murwillumbah Community Centre’s Indigenous Programs Coordinator, the app is grounded in Indigenous ways of being, knowing, and doing. Through creative engagement and shared knowledge, young people played a central role in shaping the app’s content, ensuring it reflects their experiences, strengths, and connections to Country, culture, and community.
