Thank a First Responder Day
Last week we recognised Thank a First Responder Day on 10 June 2026, a national day dedicated to saying thank you to the police, fire, ambulance, SES, and marine rescue personnel who support our communities every day, along with the families who stand behind them. It’s also a reminder of the unique pressures faced by those on the frontline, and the importance of looking after their mental health and wellbeing. Did you know there are digital mental health services and resources designed specifically for first responders, such as Peak Fortem and the National Emergency Worker Support Service? You can also explore our blog, Managing PTSD in the Frontline Community, for more resources and practical insights.
Changes in the Digital Mental Health Landscape (Dec ’25 – May ’26)

In this blog we provide a summary of the major changes in the digital mental health landscape in the last 6 months, including the latest research and service changes.

A Word from WellMob
Men’s Health Week
Men’s Health Week is an opportunity to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversations about men’s physical, social, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men face ongoing impacts of colonisation, intergenerational trauma, and social disadvantage, which can affect mental health outcomes. Social and emotional wellbeing for First Nations men is deeply connected to culture, Country, family, and community, and must be supported in ways that are culturally safe and respectful from the services that they are seeking help from.
WellMob has a range of social and emotional wellbeing resources to support the men in our community’s health, check it out here: Men – WellMob
So check on our sons, nephews, brothers, uncles, dads and pops and remind them that their health matters.
