New Dates for Free Digital Mental Health Workshops in WA
Are you a health professional based in regional or remote Western Australia and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Broome, Kununurra or surrounding areas?
Cyclone Narelle slowed us down, but we’re coming back! The last two stops on our WA Workshop tour have been finalised:
• Kununurra (Thursday 4th June, 6 – 8pm)
• Broome (Tuesday 9th June, 6 – 8pm)
Join eMHPrac and WellMob, in partnership with the WA Primary Health Alliance, for a free face-to-face digital mental health training workshop designed for GPs, allied health and health workers working in north western WA.
With a strong emphasis on social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) and culturally appropriate care, the WellMob Director, David Edwards, will explore how digital options can complement on Country, community-led and face-to-face services.

Go Rainbow for Inclusion
May 17th marked IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination. This week, consider wearing a rainbow to show visible support for creating safer, more inclusive workplaces, schools, and communities. Small actions can make a big difference in helping LGBTIQA+ people feel seen, respected, and supported.
Our LGBTIQA+ referral sheet brings together trusted Australian digital mental health resources, including wellbeing tools, peer support, and counselling, many of which are free or low-cost. It’s designed for clinicians and anyone looking to connect people with affirming care.

A Word from WellMob
Going All In for National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week
National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week are a chance to pause, reflect, and recognise the ongoing impacts of colonisation — including the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. It’s also a time to acknowledge the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme, “All In,” reminds us that reconciliation takes action from everyone. It’s not just about reflecting — it’s about taking shared responsibility and making meaningful changes in our everyday lives.
At WellMob, being “All In” means continuing to listen, learn, and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led approaches to wellbeing, and sharing culturally safe, strengths-based resources, like the ones found on the WellMob website. Listen to WellMob tips from workers – videos from workers about how they use WellMob in their work practice to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander wellbeing by using culturally responsive online resources.
Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and wellbeing is strengthened when we are all in, together.
