Eating Disorder Awareness Week

Body Image and Eating Disorders Awareness Week (1–7 September 2025) is a national initiative to shine a light on body image concerns and eating disorders encouraging awareness, understanding, and early support. This week is an important reminder of the role health practitioners play in recognising and responding to eating disorders, and in guiding people to safe, evidence-based care. To support your practice, eMHPrac has developed a new Eating Disorders Referral Sheet. This referral sheet helps you hold a conversation with a patient or client about digital mental health resources that might be relevant and useful alongside care.
