Unveiling the Churchill Fellowship Report by Chris Boyd Skinner
Over the past few months, we have been following the journey of Chris Boyd Skinner on his Churchill Fellowship, dedicated to enhancing safety and quality in digital mental health services in Australia. From August to October 2023, Chris travelled seven countries, conducted 32 expert interviews, and immersed himself in the international landscape of digital mental health. We are excited to announce that his comprehensive report has now been published. This insightful document offers critical lessons from Europe and the USA, highlighting innovative approaches to digital mental health that can be adopted in Australia.
Online Training on Interoception and Regulation
The Student Wellbeing Hub is offering a free online training course on interoception and emotional regulation. While this course is designed for primary and secondary teachers, the content may be valuable for anyone working with young people. The course delves into self-regulation, interoception, neurodiversity and using a trauma informed approach.
Supporting LGBTQIA+ People During Pride Month
Pride Month is an important time to celebrate the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community. As health practitioners, we are uniquely positioned to actively support the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ individuals. By understanding the unique challenges this community faces and using appropriate resources, we can make a significant impact. eMHPrac has a dedicated resource sheet of digital mental health services tailored for LGBTQIA+ people.
