The Indigenous Wellbeing Conference is an annual event providing a space for and respect to the stories of our past and present, to share our collective wisdom to move forward positively and improve health outcomes for all First Nations Australian, Māori and Pasifika people. This event brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples to conceptualise and strategise solutions to the most important wellbeing needs of al First Nations Australian, Māori and Pasifika people.

This year the Indigenous Wellbeing Conference will be held in Local Larrakia land.

This year the theme is ‘Our Voices, Our Solutions, Our Decisions, Our Time’ exploring the topics like:

  • Social connectedness and sense of belonging
  • Connection to land, culture, spirituality, ancestry
  • Funding and resources for community organisations
  • Hearing our voices, from the youth to the elders.

Speak to the eMHPrac team or pick up some of our resources at our trade booth.

Don’t miss out on eMHPrac team member Dr Michelle Sweets presentation on ‘What are the youth saying – innovative digital solutions for improving wellbeing in community’ and Sharnie Robert’s presentation on ‘WellMob: a digital library of online well-being resources for our deadly mob’.
