About Pivot Point

Pivot Point is an online tool developed by ACON with the Central and Eastern Sydney PHN, linking members of the LGBTIQ community with information and support relating to alcohol and other drug (AOD) use. The website is a one-stop-shop for LGBTIQ community members looking for support in relation to their AOD use, which may be becoming difficult to manage and starting to negatively impact on their lives.

In addition to information and strategies on quitting or reducing use, Pivot Point features an online self-assessment tool to gauge risk levels from AOD use, directories for resources and services that offer assistance to those seeking support, and a video series that raises awareness, answer common questions and share personal stories.

Pivot Point is for members of the LGBTIQ community in Australia who are looking for support in relation to alcohol and other drug use.
