About Family Drug Support Online

Family Drug Support Online is a website designed to provide support for families and friends of people using drugs and alcohol. The site is dedicated to helping participants become more resilient and better able to cope on their journey with their loved one who is struggling with addiction.

Family Drug Support Online offers a recorded virtual support group. Visitors of the website are able to view a series of video chapters centred on a family support group. The support that the viewer receives is tailored based on the age and length of time the loved one has been using drugs and the relationship to them. The chapters are designed to be viewed in order and are led by family drug support specialist Tony Trimingham who is an Order of Australia Medalist. The virtual support group was developed by Readymade Productions, in collaboration with Family Drug Support. This online resource was produced with financial support from the Commonwealth Department of Health through the National Ice Action Strategy.
