January Featured Service: Triple P Online Programs

Our featured service this month and the first for 2026 is the Triple P suite of online CBT-based positive parenting programs. These free, evidence-based programs support child development, from babies to teens, and help to improve family wellbeing. There are also programs specifically for parents of children with anxiety and disability and families navigating separation or divorce.

About Triple P online programs

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program was developed in Australia by researchers at the University of Queensland. Its online programs have been made freely available with funding from the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

Triple P empowers parents to form stronger relationships with their kids, address common behavioural and emotional challenges, and build parental confidence. Its free, evidence-based, online CBT-based parenting programs teach positive parenting strategies to support child development and improve family wellbeing.

Triple P provides parents with a toolbox of strategies, skills and knowledge to create a closer bond with their child and support their learning, development, life skills and emotional wellbeing. These tips and ideas help parents to:

  • Understand their child’s needs and how to support them.
  • Create a loving and safe environment for their child.
  • Know how to address challenging child behaviours.
  • Improve children’s social, emotional and cognitive development.
  • Promote new skills and emotional self-regulation.
  • Improve family relationships.
  • Enjoy family life more!
