About My Signs

My Signs is an online tool for people who support people with intellectual disability to access healthcare by documenting a visual history of moods in a fast, easy way. Developed by UNSW Sydney’s Department of Developmental Disability Neuropsychiatry, My Signs aims to support the mental health assessment of people with intellectual disabilities and significant communication difficulties.

Users can upload and tag images and videos of the moods expressed by the person they support, and share the moods with their health and other professionals. Over time users will build and visual library of the moods of the person they support, and can invite other to contribute and manage this profile.
