  • 02 May CAIRNS SHOWCASE - Social and Emotional Well-Being of Australia’s First Nations’ People in a Digital Age

    This one-day event showcases current research and work being done in the field of digital mental health in Australia. The day will include presentations on the current research and practice in digital mental health in Australia, presentations on current resources available in digital mental health (with specific focus on culturally relevant resources available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), and a discussion panel focussing on the digital world and it's impact on the health and well-being of Australia’s First Nations’ people.  We have speakers from Mindspot, Hitnet, the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence and Black Dog Institute as part of the line up – with more speakers to be revealed.
